So we need to be smart about where all those "things" are. A project is more appropriately thought of as a description - with "pointers" to all the things it's going to trigger. But logically a little thought shows that's naive. To me and I'm sure MANY others, a project has it all. Mixcraft is wonderful given it's value (cost/feature/support combination I'm quite sure kicks the stuff out of any other DAW).īUT there are pitfalls to be avoided - and it helps obviously to know they are there and what to do about them. I will happily attribute it to ignorance on my part - yet that seems harsh because one can't know how to do something if they don't even realize they have to take it into consideration in the first place. Where can we find a tutorial on best practices for organizing everything? The kind of thing the OP is describing happened to me as well when I moved machines (many months ago) Question related to this issue - since I think I'm going to wipe Mixcraft and all my plugins and start over.
